Dbus and Ubuntu
I am running Ubuntu on vmware.
every time I edit my session.conf in /etc/dbus-1/ and logout/shutdown.restart. my Ubuntu image seem to be corrupted. I am unable to login, it just takes me back to the login screen.
is there a way to stop dbus-daemon from running session bus automatically? I want to start dbus-daemon bus without forking and be able to run VERBOSE. where to local the file to make the change?
Is there a way to start a different dbus-daemon running on session bus listening on tcp port?
when I did the below I get the below message
wknoo@vm_localhost:~$ dbus-daemon --session --config-file=/home/wkhoo/session-local.conf
--config-file specified but configuration file /etc/dbus-1/session.conf already requested
