DB disconnets after closing SSH clinet

Whenever my MySQL database disconnets, i open SSH clinet and restart the service. But when i close SSH client from my machine. Again database gets disconnected. I have to keep my SSH clinet open, if i want my database up. Can anybody help me with this?

You need to give use more information about this.

What version of MySQL, what distro (add this to your profile). How are you running MySQL?

If you are just running mysqld or mysqld_safe from the command line, then when the SSH client is closed, all running processes are sent SIGTERM, which would include mysqld.
