Dansguradian + Squid Working But Not Filtering Anything

Hi,
I installed dansguardian on a pogoplug and got it up and running with squid. Before making it transparent by redirecting all trafic on ports 80 and 443 from thge router to the pogoplug:8080 (the port dansguardian listens on), I configured firefox to use the pogoplug's adress:8080 as a proxy, but nothing was being blocked. The weird thing is the logs show that the requests went through dansguardian and squid. (By the client's ip is not in the exeptioniplist.)

just saw your reply. The access log shows the requests made so the traffic is obviously flowing through dansguardian
but the filter for some reason is not working.
Thanks
