damn you Konqueror!
 
everytime I launch a new Konqueror window for browsing the web, the window size is all f-ed up. Is there anyway i can resize the window and have it -remember- the settings??

What is this "all f-ed up" of which you speak?

Do you mean it isn't the size you want? If so, choose - Window - Save View Profile "Web-Browsing" - and in the window, check the boxes to remember url and window size, OK and then you should be done.
