d4x very slow---why
 

m using downloader for X or d4x but i find my download speed to be too slow as compared
to what i used to get from flashget in windows

isn't there any other program for downloading better than d4x or maybe a flashget's version for redhat9

How different are the speeds?
Flashget works in Wine. And you have no adware because that doesn't work in Wine well :D.
