I have compiled a program on a linux machine, and am trying to port it to windows by transfering the directory of the working program to a directory in cygwin, on a windows machine. I have not been able to boot the program under cygwin. I am wondering if this is because I have to compile under cygwin on the same computer to be able to run it.
I believe you do need to comilpe on cygwin. In fact that is really what it is for. Good luck!
