cvs error


I am getting this error while issuing CVS status *, I tried 2 or 3 different servers,
Pls let me know what is the issue.

% cvs status *
cvsm status: authorization failed: server cvs-mirror rejected access to /cvsroot for user
%

It means you don't have permission to read from the repository.

Did the CVS administrator grant you permissions? Do you have the correct CVSROOT defined in your environment? Have you logged in (cvs login)?
