Customizing Firebird behaviour
Sorry if this is has already been mentioned here.
Do you want to modify the behaviour of Mozilla-Firebird?
The thing that really bugged me, was right-clicking on a link, and Firebird opens the new tab in the background so you then have to go click on the tab to look at the contents of the newly opened page. It's easy to change this. Open a new window in Firebird, type "about:config" in the URL address space. Now scroll down to "browser.tabs.loadInBackground" and double click this line. Change the value to "false". Now, when you right-click on a link and tell it to open a new tab, it will do so in the foreground. Neat, huh?
There is potentially a lot of cool stuff you can do in here. But this is just the first one I have tried, and it DOES work. YMMV.
