Custom screen modes
 

Hello,

i would like to have new screen modes, like 512 x 384, 640 x 400, 320 x 200 avaible to x server ( to be used with emulators ). They all can be displayed with Window$.

If i simply add them to the xfree86config-4 in /etc/x11, they are not avaible using ctrl + + or ctrl + -, so i don't know if it is possible or not to add them.

I use Xfree 4.1.

Also another question: is it possible to have a 1 bit depth X server? In my config file i have entries for it, but if i start X with startx -- -depth 1 it returns back to the console.
