CUPS Question

Hi. I had CUPS working great with my Deskjet 890c. Then, I must have changed something, because now, it doesn't want to work. If I try to use the KDE print manager, it sets up fine. Then, I print the test page. The puter says that the page printed fine, but nothing comes out of the printer. If I try to edit the printers using localhost:631, this is what I get

Code:
"unable to open print file "/var/lib/spool/cups/d00020-001" - Permission denied"
Anye ideas?

Thanks

Update: If I log out and log back in as root and use the KDE print manager to print a test page, then turn the printer off and back on, press the manual reset button, it works, I get the test page. But CUPS still gives me the same error message.

Are you trying to print to file instead of the printer?

I don't think so, that would be PostScript, right?

I should have it set to CUPS, not 'Print through program (generic)' right? That is in the KDE module

(Found KPM ) Yeah, seems so.

Edit: Print through program vs Common Unix Printing System (iirc), dunno which sounds like it'd work better.
