Question Cups printing in Gnome vs KDE

Why was it that in Gnome I tired Cups setup through the http admin and it always failed to work...I had access denied when trying to test print, even when I switched the print manager to Cups....

but When I used KDE it was using Cups by default and it works fine with my same printers listed in Gnome, and I didn't even configure cups in KDE?

Weird
