SOVLED! CUPS, option to print self-test page and clean print heads greyed out?

I work for a company that refills ink and toner cartridges. I have about a half dozen different HP printers connected to my laptop. I have test pages downloaded from the internet that I print out, and it gets the job done. However, when I go to Administration<Printing and go to a printer, the option to print out a self-test page or clean print heads is greyed out. Is this just because Linux driver doesn't support it? Would it work if I were to get the PPD file for it and load that?

Thanks,

Brandon

Apparently HP has a device manager for it's printers available for download from Sourceforge. It can manage all of your printers and get full functionality from them. HP's website redirects you to Sourceforge and it pretty easy to install.
