Ctrl and Esc doesn't list anything


I am on Kubuntu Feisty and Ctrl + Esc doesn't list anything.

What is the problem and how can I fix it.

Are you doing this as the primary user?---ie the user that has quasi-root powers.

What happens if you open a terminal and enter
ksysguard
OR
kdesu ksysguard
?
