ctrl+alt+fn problem with NVIDIA driver?

Slackware 9
When I use the standart "vesa" driver there is no problem. But when I switch to nvidia I can't use ctrl+alt+fn.

Any suggestions ?

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.

How are you activating X? Are you typing startx at the prompt or is it starting automatically (like through xdm, gdm kdm, etc)? If auto, try to start it manually and see if it works properly then. Also, try killing it with <ctrl>-<alt>-<backspace> and restarting it. Also, look for any anomalies in the X log (/var/log/XFree86.0.log).
