Crypt lib ?
 
Hi everyone!


I have problem installing pine under debian, i get this wierd "undefined reference to `crypt' "

I have search google and have come to the cunclusion that i have to install the "crypt lib", now to the problem, I can't find it.

anyone knows where to find it? or if it's a part of another lib.

libcrypt is part of the glibc package. you should have it, it is part of all linux distros. if you dont have it, you might need to update your glibc package (go to http://www.freshmeat.net and look for glibc there).

are you sure you are missing crypt? not crypto? cos crypto is part of the openssl package.
