crossover plugin


i downloaded the crossover plugin and it works great, but when i go to load some media files it says at the bottom of the windows media player finding activex.microsoft and shortly after closes windowsmedia player, how do i get this to stop happening?

uh... are you sure your on the right message board? I dont think your going to get alot of help with Windows Media PLayer here

Actually he is on the right board because he is running it from Linux, he just needs help with configuring what he's running..

Have you tried going into options and i know theres some option about connecting to a microsoft thing....it's looking for activex i guess....and trying to install it...

I personally don't even browse to the sites that use Microsoft Media streaming only, the video quality is choppy with MS MP6.4 anyway.
