Cross-platform webcam software

I don't know if anything like this exists, but I'm looking for a piece of (free) software that will allow me running linux to have a webcam conversation (preferably with voice+text features as well) with someone running windows over the internet. I know gAIM can run on various IM networks, but AFAIK there is no ability to use webcams (tell me if I'm wrong!).

If anyone could point me in the direction of a suitable application, I'd be eternally grateful.
