Cross-compile cdrdao in ppc ,cdrdao's size is too large

Hi,everyone
I want to compile cdrdao in ppc ,after I compiled the cdrdao-1.2.2 package,I list the cdrdao's size just compiled.the size is almost 4M,it's too large for ppc ,but I searched in the net.somebody else compiled the cdrdao's size is only 500k-700k,I changed almost all the configure's flags ,the best result is the cdrdao's size up to 2.6M.
Could somebody tell me how to compile it can get smaller size of "cdrdao".

Try compiling it with whatever features you want then run this command:

strip cdrdao

in the same directory as the cdrdao executable. This strips out the debugging symbols from an executable. With such a large executable, it's likely that the symbols are in there. This can often reduce the size drastically.
