Question Creating .SO files in Eclipse (or any other IDE)


Hi, i fairly new to programing in Linux. I am trying to make an application that compiles to a shared object library (.so). I have been able to do this some what from the command line, however i would like to beadle to do it in an IDE such as eclipse. How would i do this?
