Creating Mail Filter in Thunderbird mail client

Hi all,

I have installed Thunderbird mail client and configured the accounts..
When i filtered the mail by using the filtering rule then it working correctly. The filter rules applied only when ever it created,after closing the mail client and tried to apply the filters,it doesn't have that rules..all are destroyed. how can i save that rules?

Thunderbird should save filter rules. Something is not right on your system.

Try looking at the permissions in the ~/.thunderbird directory (and subdirectories)
