There is very good chance that you could convert single MDI document to PDF with Adobe Acrobat by issuing a command from command prompt. If that is true, your techie could create a list of all MDI's and/or write a simple batch script that would convert files from that list to PDF. Consult your Acrobat Help Documentation for proper syntax.
