Creating a flag file


Hi,

I had created a flag to satisfy a conditional statement, now i had modified a file which is used in the condition to complete a task & now a new flag need to be created & override the previous flag so how can a new flag can be created instead of previous flag ?

Any help will be appreciated

Yes, i created the flag file in the same way but now i want to apply condition so that if any modifications are done in future
for the same file then condition can be applied & the new modified file can be copied/executed successfully without any need for rerun.

Also if md5sum can be any helpfull & how ?
