Created "htdoc enabled dir" in apache doubt???

hi ..

I am trying to install twiki under a non-root account on my system ..

So the installation guide says that for a non-root account we have to install as below

http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/TWiki/..._Create_Config

the /twiki/pub has to be installed in a htdoc enabled directory

how to enable this /twiki/pub directory as a htdoc enabled one??

Any idea??

thnks
