Create Bookmarks for PDF
Making PDF files is no problem. But, can someone tell me what I can use to add bookmarks?
Thanks, ddpicard |
Maybe I should ask if anyone nows how to edit a PDF file. Add Bookmarks or remove pages.
Thanks, ddpicard |
I think there is no way to edit PDF files. IF you want to change its contents then you should make the PDF file again from the edited source

Sorry Sandy but I think you're assumption is incorrect. There IS a way to edit pdf files... he must be referring to how it is done in a linux OS - which I have no idea [sorry!]. There is of course Adobe Acrobat and a couple of other software (windoze, unfortunately).
Though the recommended way is to edit the source again then convert them again, I have experienced situations where editing the pdf directly is the only solution. |
I am wanting to Add Bookmarks. This is not actually editing the pdf. Bookmarks are added after the file is created. Even in Acrobat which I have used at work. But now I have pdfEdit995 for Window$(which is ad supported :( but not spyware). Trying to go the free route to save $$$. Works great, but, I am wanting to make some PDF's at home but I am not using Winodw$ anymore.
After doing some searches, found out that LaTex might work. And also found a progrm called PDFBM (PDF Bookmaker). Have not had time to read up on LaTex, and still have some dependencies to work out with PDFBM. I'll post something when I get a chance to figure them out. ddpicard |
That sounds good... I'll try to read more on that as well.
