Create a CD with snapshot of the system after install and configuration

Hello,

I pretend install a system and take a snapshot with all configuration and programs installed on machine! I read and googled about systemback (https://launchpad.net/systemback).
My idea, and wish, is have a cd with all system read and only be put the cd on drive and rotate this awesome piece (Sorry about this joke, but my native language it is not English, that is why I don't know a good joke

This is a best option? What do you advice and suggest?
The system which I pretend did this is Lubuntu 16.04 LTS

You can take an image of your install disk using dd, or there are other tools which I haven't used, partimage, clonezilla are two that I've heard about.

I've used Clonezilla. It works very nicely. http://clonezilla.org/

Most Linux distros come with dd installed. The command man dd should tell you more.

There is a program called remastersys you may want to look into. The original remastersys is no longer developed, but, if you can find it, it still should work. Also. alternatives are being developed. A web search for "remastersys" should yield many links.
