Crazy doctor in emacs.


I read an howto and it said if you can't fix the problem type Esc-x doctor in emacs. I did so and got an annoying bot it seems. Is this some kind of joke or does this "doctor" have any kind of use?

you have stumbled on an emacs game
or rather a very early attempt at ai
doctor is not a joke (well yes it is)
but the person who told you to use doctor to solve problems was just messing with your head
my personal favorite
ESC x psychoanalyze-pinhead
it is hard to understand the humor of the 70's unless you were there
