CPU temp monitor

hi guys
i have suse 9.3
and i wanna to see my CPU temp and the fan speed and those stuff

i tried some dockapps but they all require a LM_Sensors package and i seem to have some problems wiz it

is there is anyway to monitor my cpu temp without this package ?

Nope. You will need to install lm_sensors and then run sensors-detect, which tells you what chips/bus and modules you have to load. Perhaps it's easier if you tell us what kind of problems you are having with lm_sensors first...

There might be other ways/sensors to get temperature and fan speed in Linux, but this is the only I know about....

Good luck!

Agreed. lm-sensors is the 'standard'.
