Couple of Gnome questions...

I've been trying to get Gnome working properly for a while and have finally got it sorted so now I have a couple of quickies...

Firstly, is it possible to switch between virtual desktops using the mouse wheel?

Secondly, are there any Konqueror style file managers for Gnome? It must be dual panes but after searching and finding loads of different file managers for Gnome, they are all commander style and I would really prefer the style of Konqueror and Xplorer2 for Windows.
Failing this, is there any way to set Nautilus to a dual pane style? It wouldn't be so crap then.

Just like to add one more question - is it possible to have a different wallpaper on each virtual desktop?
