Counter Strike server - simple question


The server works, but when i start it up, am i supposed to get some sort of prompt to be able to run commands in? When i start it up wiht the command ./hlds_run -game cstrike +port..yada yada i get some info that scrolls on the screen the it looks as if it just hangs, i dont get any kind of prompt back to run commands in. again i ask...am i supposed to get some kind of prompt to control the server?

yo nevermind, i can run commands in that hang-like state its in, i just installed metmod and it lets me do the meta command
