Hello ma using ubuntu 9.10 ,,whenever i downloaded a file or other data from internet and when its downloading completes ,the following message appears

/home/amrit/Downloads/NAME OF FILE could not be saved, because an unknown error occurred.

Try saving to a different location

Since you have not replied to any of your threads, I don't feel like answering your question.

Check and see if /home/amrit/Downloads exists and you have write access to it. If not, make and/or chmod it.

Amrit;
It appears that you have NEVER posted any follow-up in any of your 34 threads----not even a "thank you". Since you never respond to the people who try to help you, I am one of many members who will not try to help you.
