Could not record any sound from mic using audacity in FC4
 

Hi,

I'm trying to use Skype in my machine and could not make my "mic" work.

I installed audacity to help in troubleshooting but it doesn't work either.

I can listen my voice on phone, so I suppose hardware and mixer are both well configured, but no sound is capturesd at all, neither in audacity nor in Skype.

My configuration is:
Fedora Core 4
SoundBlaster Live 5.1

The packages I think are related with this isssue are:
alsa-lib-1.0.9rf-2.FC4
alsa-utils-1.0.9rf-2.FC4
audacity-1.2.3-5

I have that problem with FC4/FC5 at Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 too :(
I think that Alsa don't work propertly with SB Live! at all.
