Correct X11 display???

Ok, i have Xebian installed on my Xbox, which displays on my TV. i have no keyboard or mouse connected, so i ssh all commands. what i want 2 do is run mplayer remotely from my computer and have the display still be on the TV screen. the problem is, mplayer is not able to open the display. i set the -display 192.168.0.66:0.0 --- the ip being the correct ip for the xbox. and i get this message:
vo: couldn't open the X11 display (192.168.0.66:0.0)! --- it doesn't work if i use the domain and name either.

is there a way i can identify what the available displays are???
any help would be great

cheers, Mark.

I don't know how much I can help, the last time I fooled around with exporting an X session was with my Agenda.

But this might help:

As for the Xbox mods, way cool! My Stepson and I have a couple with the executer chip in it.

How well does Xebian work, and why no keyboard and mouse?

not quite what i am after, thanks tho.

i haven't bought an usb keyboard and mouse yet, i was kinda hoping i could get away without having to directly control it at all. but by the looks, i may not:( debian runs pretty well, especially for the reletively low specs of an xbox.
