Question

Well I'm upset because I can't install Corel WP 8 on my computer. I have hundreds of documents in WordPerfect which lose their formatting when converted to text files. So... I'm having regrets about going completely Linux instead of 50/50. I put the CD in and follow the directions exactly, but it doesn't work. (Perhaps because it's not a Debian based distribution???) Do I have to go through all that Make files stuff to get it to work on Mandrake, or is their a trick?

And I live down the street from Corel, no less! I'd phone them, but its one of these IDG books with free software...

Ahem!

Harry
