Copying cups from linux to linux

Hi,

How would I be able to compy the cups printers and configs from one linux server to another? Both are identical except for one has a lot of printers all setup and ready.

I have tried copying the /etc/cups folder over but the cups service seems to get stuck on restarting so I assume there is more involved.

I noted that there is files in this folder that say "converted by root@original.host.com" but this should not matter surely?

Any help is very much apprieciated!

ok cups seems to not be the problem, but more that the gui printer listing is not updated.

lpstat lists the new printers fine.
