What error are you getting (copy and paste the error message please)?

I can't show it immediately. But i'm getting the error also with ddrescue

Now I'm getting the following error

Het bronbestand '/BDMV/STREAM/00411.m2ts' is corrupt of ongeldig bij offset 5505024, er wordt geprobeerd er omheen te werken

It's in Dutch

The source file '/BDMV/STREAM/00411.m2ts' is corrupt or invalid at offset 5505024, an attempt is made to work around it

Ok, thanks. Can you try copying several different BluRay disks and tell us if this error is consistently shown?

ruben1910 02-05-2019 02:30 PM

I did but this disc is the only one with this error. All the other discs i get an input/output error

you can simply try to copy that file (to check if readable). Can you please explain post #8? only this disk has error or others too?

How can i convert the m2ts file to mkv?

EDIT: I get an input/output error too?

pan64 02-05-2019 02:41 PM

you can find a lot of different solution on the net. You can choose your preferred one. I would probably try avidemux.

I can't copy the 30 gb file to my hard drive because i get a input/output error too?

pan64 02-05-2019 02:49 PM

that most probably means the disk has been damaged. Or probably the reader is not ok. Or probably it is some kind of copy-protection.

Can it be that i must use a NTFS hard drive instead of a ext4 hard drive?

pan64 02-05-2019 02:52 PM

no, I don't think so
