Cool software
 

I'm looking for some cool software to download and play with on my Linux box. System status and things like that would be best. Any suggestions?

If you are running KDE, you might wanna look into SuperKaramba Excellent eye candy, and their description even describes "system information" as one of the uses.

Yeah superkaramba will defenitely give you plenty to play with. Also you should register with sourceforge, you can browse around and find cool new software, and its a great way to help programmers develop their software and do your part for the linux community.

I downloaded and installed the superkaramba RPM, but I'm not sure what to do next. I can't find any documentation on their site, and I can't find the package anywhere. Damn I hate RPMs...

Do you have the 'devel' packages installed for X?
