converting to 3gp videos

would anyone know of a linux app that would convert a movie file (avi, mpeg1/2/3/4, divx etc.) to a 3gp format?

It's so I can play the 3gp videos on my mobile phone (nokia 6630)

The Nokia 6630 also supports the mpeg-4 codec, have you tried encoding to that?
