Convert mp3 to m4b (aac)
 

I have ripped some of my audiobooks as MP3's and want to listen to them on my iPod.

The problem is that the iPod wants audiobooks to be in the m4b format. This gives you bookmarking facilities as well as good things like them not coming up when you are in random mode.

Can anyone point me in the direction of which software(s) I need to convert my MP3's into m4b's? I believe it's just an aac file where you have changed the extension.

Scripts that can convert say 10 MP3's into one and then into an AAC is most welcome.
