Question Convert DivX to DVD?

Hallo,

is there a program for Linux (I'm using fedora core 4) with which I can convert a DivX movie into DVD format which can be read by stand alone DVD players?

Yes, many. But just like in windows you need to convert the divx to mpeg, then burn the mpeg as DVD.

Thanks, but can you name a few? Probably I can use transcode to convert a DivX file into MPEG, but I'm not aware of a DVD authoring programming running under Linux.

I'm looking for the same kind of thing.
