Conversion of mpg,avi,mov,wmv formats to flv

hi all

I'm using ffmpeg to convert different video formats to flv(flash video) format
using the following command
"./ffmpeg -i abc.mpg xyz.flv"

I've also tried the same above command with various options also like
"./ffmpeg -i abc.mpg -b -360 -r 25 -s 320x240 -hq -deinterlace -ab 64 -ar 32000 -ac 2 xyz.flv"

Both of the above commands are able to convert the given input files into flv format but there is no audio in it.
But if i convert abc.mpg file into xyz.avi file then both audio & video are perfect.so i'm unable to figure out that why i'm not getting audio in flv format.
I've lame installed on my system for audio support.
I configured ffmpeg with mp3lame,a52,faad support enabled but still unable to get any audio in the output file.
any kind of help will be appreciated

You have to use mp3 audio format, as the default flv codec is proprietary (NellyMoser codec). This script might be useful to you.

I went through the script and ran the following command

"./ffmpeg -i abc.mpg -hq -acodec mp3 -ar 22050 -ab 32 -f flv -s 320x240 -aspect 4:3 xyz.flv"

gives the following error:

Input #0, mpeg, from 'abc.mpg':
Duration: 00:00:10.3, bitrate: 1586 kb/s
Stream #0.0: Video: mpeg1video, 352x240, 29.97 fps, 1120 kb/s
Stream #0.1: Audio: mp2, 44100 Hz, stereo, 224 kb/s
Output #0, flv, to 'xyz.flv':
Stream #0.0: Video: flv (hq), 320x240, 29.97 fps, q=2-31, 200 kb/s
Stream #0.1: Audio: mp3, 22050 Hz, stereo, 32 kb/s
Stream mapping:
Stream #0.0 -> #0.0
Stream #0.1 -> #0.1
Press [q] to stop encoding
Fatal error: mp3 data is not padded!

What is this error about? How can i rectify it?

AND if i use the audio codec same as input file by using the following command i get the output file but again it is without sound.
"./ffmpeg -i abc.mpg -hq -acodec copy xyz.flv"

A google indicates that the recommendation is to update ffmpeg to the latest CVS version of ffmpeg and rebuild it; this seems to be a recently introduced problem.

You can get the latest CVS version here.
