Controlling "modem" via RS232

Hello. I dont know if this is a stupid question.

I have a "radio modem" which is connected to computer via a null-modem cable. It has itīs own software inside. I can access it with my "DOS" machine with a simple program called TERM.EXE. Setting baudrates,Com ports parity etc.

I would like to ask how could i access it via my Linux machine. I have no X installed btw.

Iīm tired to boot with DOS disks. I know there will be a simple answer. i just canīt find the right words to look for it.
