I'm looking for software that will allow me to continually record the video stream from a camera (it has a RCA camera connected through a video capture card so I'm not worried about a IP enabled setup). I need it to be able to save the recording directly to the hard drive and preferably have a GUI interface that'll show the current feed and the camera's status. Does anyone have any recommendations?
I've tried ZoneMinder before-it looks like great software but I never managed to quite get it setup and I'm not interested in most of the extra functionality it provides anyway, really I'm looking for something quicker and easier.
