Console RSS Reader & Jabber/AIM Client

Hi,

I saw someone using pine, and so I gave it a try and I love it.

I wanted to find out if there are similar console based programs that I can use as an RSS Reader and as a Jabber or AIM client.

I'm using os x, so possibly programs that would run on darwin(unix)...

Thanks.

Ok, I got centericq to work on os x... you just had to disabled the msn when installing.

./configure --disable-msn

Snownews and Raggle are two console RSS readers.

You already found the best console instant messaging option that I'm aware of.

Wow awesome thanks, snownews is a great app, exactly what I was looking for.

I tried Raggle before but couldn't compile it because of dependency issues that I couldn't resolve.

I also tried the built-in RSS in centericq... but that was pretty bad...
