console bittorrent client / ssh control

I recently set up an Ubuntu file server. I'd like to use it to download torrents, but I have no monitor/keyboard/etc connected to it, I just access it through ssh if I need to do anything on it. My question is, what is a really good console based bittorrent client, and how could I ssh into the machine, work with the client, and then let do its thing without having to keep the ssh session open. Any ideas?

rtorrent is my fav CLI BitTorrent app. Nice feel, very configurable and cool
