Hi. I have a recording situation that I'm considering switching to Linux since the Windows based apps I've been using havent been working out all that great. I was thinking of using Fedora Core 5, since I've used FC4 and am somewhat familiar with it... My question is. If it doesnt work out, there's not really any disadvantage to reformating and switching back to Windows eh? Is there any easy way to do that?

Also, I have my Windows set up so that the OS is on it's own partition, programs are on their own, and recording files are on it's own. How would you suggest partitioning for Linux?

Also, the programs that I need an equivalent of or would really like to be able to get running in Linux are...
