Connecting Mandriva 2008 Spring to Dell Axim X5

Greetings... I have a Dell Axim X5 PDA, that I'm trying to connect to Mandriva 2008 Spring. I've tried SYnCE, RAKI, etc.., following the examples on the web, but I'm having no luck. When I plug in the X5, Mandrivia gives no indication that there is any new hardware anywhere.

Thought??
