conky help

Hey I am on UBUNTU breezy and I am trying to get MPD to work with conky. I am not getting an output of xmms is there something that i need? I have xmms-infopipe installed and i even included the option --enable-mpd when i compiled conky. can anyone help?

MPD is not XMMS. Conky will display track data from MPD but not XMMS. I don't know exactly what xmms-infopipe is but conky can display the output of commands so maybe just use that to fetch the track data from XMMS and display it in conky.
