Configuring XawTV
How do I get XawTV to scan for Canadian frequencies? I used the Drakx TV setup to scan with Canada selected but it stops. Also, when I start up XawTV, why does it default back to PAL?? Thanks for any help.

You should look at man xawtvrc (I think) and setup a global xawtvrc file, in there you can specify your preferred type (NTFS, PAL).

also try scantv which is a console tool with xawtv

I tried scantv but it doesn't have the option for "canada" (like Zapper has) and none of the US settings work properly.
