configuring grub
I want a fullscreen image on start up with grub and configuring the viewport, setting size and allocation, but I couldn't find any howtos to do so. I'm using debian unstable

I'm using grub but not grub 2 do I need grub 2 for the configuration options I want and yes I have a splashimage but not fullscreen

Is this a toshiba laptop? Is there an option in the bios?

yes I have a splashimage on startup, I edited menu.lst, but I don't know any options of setting splash image's size. so it's size is 480x640
