Configuring Gnome apps in KDE

I use KDE as my window manager. I can't live without some Gnome apps as well, but the fonts on them look ugly.

I tried to configure gnome settings by running Gnome control center from within KDE. It worked until a reboot.

After rebooting the machine, Gnome apps look ugly again, but when I run Gnome control center, my custom settings return to normal (until another reboot).

Should I inlude something into the rc file in order to restore Gnome settings on startup?

Thanks for answering!

Are you saying that the fonts look fine when you start Gnome apps in Gnome, but look rude from KDE???

Perhaps fire up gnome, make everything pretty, then save and login to KDE.

I just say this because when I use a KDE app in Fluxbox, it takes on the settings I created whilst running KDE.

If the problem is that KDE is making your nice Gnome fonts look ugly then I don't think I can help you.

I have set up everything in Gnome Control Center, but these settings are reset on reboot. If I run Gnome Control Center, it returnes my settings back, so I guess I should run something at startup in order to restore the Gnome settings.
